Escape Room
The revolutionary French troops led by Napoleon Bonaparte invade Italy, imposing a new anti-Christian social order. In 1796 Pope Pius VI, sick and elderly, was arrested and deported to France, where he died of starvation. The invaders oust legitimate kings from their thrones and raid works of art and wealth of all kinds, but above all they unleash a wave of harassment against the Catholic Church. The churches are desecrated, the sacred furnishings looted and the monasteries suppressed.
We are in 1798 the troops are advancing towards Bagnacavallo, some Jacobin helpers and collaborators have already invaded the Convent of San Francesco.
Will you be able to save the important work of the Madonna kept inside the Convent within 60 minutes? Friar Contarini hid the important effigy in a secret room that he used for his writings and his spiritual rites. Will you be able to escape from the Napoleonic troops while saving this work of art forever?
